Breaking The Cycle - Ironton Rustic Furniture

Ironton Rustics started by accident in late 2009 when co-founder Chuck Fortinberry, a Chrysler Jeep dealer for 24 years, finally closed his dealership after losing his franchise during the Chrysler bankruptcy. That afternoon he got a call from a friend who owned a rustic furniture manufacturing company, Moon Valley Rustic Furniture, just a few miles down the street. He wanted to know if he could rent the building to do a HUGE rustic furniture sale for a couple months. Having no immediate business plan at the time, Chuck agreed to a rental price and they were off and running. Chuck and his wife Dana had purchased a few items from Moon Valley for their home in Clarkston and cottage in Ironton, Michigan. They knew the quality of the furniture was superb and had just learned that Moon Valley had launched an indoor line of furniture that was equally as awesome. They knew that they were a part of something special.
