The UAW will hold a meeting of it’s national GM Council Thursday as this is day 30 of the strike at GM. This could be a signal that a settlement may be near. A national council meeting is typically called to consider a tentative contract. GM CEO Mary Barra has become involved in the talks at the main table, according to reports. The strike is in it’s 5th week.
