Remembering the fallen– on 9-11.
Detroit Police Department and Detroit Fire Department will host the annual 9/11 Memorial Service beginning at 11 a.m. in Campus Martius on Woodward.
A ceremony will be held at the City of Rochester Hills Fire Department Headquarters.
A special ceremony takes place on Eastern Michigan’s campus at the Pease Auditorium.
Canton’s Do Good Expo at the Summit on the Park . The expo will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.
A ceremony will be at Resurrection Cemetery Clinton Township just before 6 p.m.
Patriot Day Ceremony will be held at the Farmington Pavilion from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A walk/ride from the American Legion Post 4 on Groesbeck, south of Elizabeth in Mt. Clemens at 6pm.
A discussion will take place at the Brighton Library from 6:30 p.m.
Pastor Bill Wrede will be speaking at Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica at 7 p.m. He is currently studying at the Lutheran seminary in St. Louis, but was living in Long Island during 9/11 and Pastor Wrede went down to the site to help out after the attacks.
