MIOSHA Goes To Granite Accident Scene

State workplace investigators will try to find the cause of the accident at a stone and granite warehouse that killed two workers.
They were crushed under tons of granite slabs. It was at the Stone Warehouse of Michigan, in the stone and marble zone in Sterling Heights, 19 Mile near Van Dyke, where a number of similar businesses  are located.
It took hours to recover the bodies of the two men, one in his 30’s, the other in his 50’s.
Workers from nearby stone and granite stores came to the scene immediately, but it was too late to save the victims.
