DTE says 250,000 homes and businesses remain without power.
Overall, 600,000 customers were impacted by outages caused by this past weekend’s storms, DTE said. The company is aiming to have 90 percent restored by end of day , and the remainder restored by end of day Wednesday.
DTE says the outages are the second-highest on record for the company.
Consumers Energy says it has about 45,000 customers without power outstate.
