Ann Arbor Teen Stabbers May Face Trial

Two teenagers accused of stabbing a 15 year old 14 times during a robbery in Ann Arbor are due in court today.

The attack occurred in an underground parking garage near the Ann Arbor District Downtown Library back on April 8th.

17 year old Maurice Slaton and 16 year old Conrad Hanks were arrested and charged with intent to murder and armed robbery.

At their arraignment, Slaton told the magistrate that was special needs and didn’t understand the charges against him.

Hanks attorney said his client has a long history of difficulties.

Psychiatric exams were ordered for both teens.

There due back in court today for a hearing on the result of those exams.
