A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a Garden City man in the fatal shooting of a Detroit Police officer.
35 year old Eddie Johnson has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 34 year old Elaine Williams. Williams was a DPD sergeant. Johnson was her live-in partner.
Police say the shooting was a case of domestic violence.
