Detroit Teachers Get More Money

Detroit public school teachers are getting a pay raise.
The Detroit Federation of Teachers and the school district have agreed to a wage re-opener in their contract.
Teachers at the top of the pay scale will get a 4 pt 3 percent pay raise early next year.
Others will get a 3-percent raise. All members of the union will get a 15-hundred dollar bonus.
The full contract will be renegotiated next year.
