Stranger Danger Solved In Farmington Hills

There’s a new twist to a stranger-danger incident in Farmington Hills.

The incident occurred in a neighborhood near Grand River and 9 Mile.
Police were able to talk to a man who spoke to some children after school. Police released information about it, and the man, who lives in the neighborhood, learned that police were looking for him, so he came forward.
He told police that he was the man who spoke to the kids, but he meant no harm when he pulled up in his car— he says he asked them if they were all right, and did not offer them a ride, as police had suspected.

Police say if children appear to need help, call police.
