More measles cases are cropping up in Oakland County.
They appear to be connected to the ultra orthodox Jewish community.
The state health department says two new cases have been confirmed in SE Michigan… one in Oakland County and one in the city of Detroit.
One of the cases had exposure in Kent and Ingham counties.
Exposure locations for both cases were at
Beis Chabad of North Oak Park,
a Speedway gas station in Lansing,
A Baymont hotel at the Grand Rapids Airport,
A BP gas station on Encorse Road in Ypsilanti,
an Urgent care Med Express in Grand Rapids,
Congregation B’Nai Israel in Oak Park.
The state says this brings to 42 the number of known measles cases in Michigan this year.
