The preliminary exam for former Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon resumes in District Court in Charlotte.
Simon has been charged with lying to investigators about when she learned of the sexual assault complaints against Doctor Larry Nassar.
Investigators say she was told of the charges in May of 2014 during a meeting with Paulette Granberry Russell, who was a senior advisor in the Universities Title Nine office at the time.
Russell testified last week that she could not recall if she told Simon about any matter involving Nassar.
She added it was possible, but that she could not specifically remember mentioning Nassar.
Russell was questioned for over 6 hours and is scheduled to resume her testimony.
Prosecutors say they have another 5 or 6 witnesses to call.
