Judge Awaits Final Judgement

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission tells the state Supreme Court that the court should remove Livingston County judge Theresa Brennan from the bench for misconduct.
Brennan failed to disclose a relationship with a state police investigator who was the main detective in a murder case before Brennan. A conviction had to be overturned, and a new trial ordered.
The Tenure Commission also found that Brennan did not immediately recuse her self from her own divorce case… tampered with evidence in that case, and lied under oath.
Brennan is charged with perjury in a criminal case.
The commission also accused Brennan of misconduct for requiring court staff to perform personal favors, like take her car in for repairs, paying her bills, installing a deck at her house, and waiting for the cable TV man at her house.
