He operated the Tri-County Wellness group and operated numerous pain clinics here in Michigan and Ohio
He pled guilty to paying kickbacks to recruit patients, soliciting bribes for doctors to refer Medicare patients and money laundering.
Investigators say his scheme also involved dispensing controlled substances to to some patients who were addicted to narcotics and that many of the drugs then ended up being sold on the street.
He is facing a possible life prison term.
