Ford has issued three recalls covering more than 1.4 million vehicles.
Most of them— select 2011-13 Ford F-150 vehicles with 6-speed automatic transmissions that may experience a loss of the transmission speed sensor signal resulting in a downshift into first gear.
Ford is aware of five reports of accidents, including one report of whiplash.
This action affects approximately 1.48 million vehicles in North America,
Ford is issuing another recall for some 2017-19 Lincoln Continental vehicles for a door latch concern.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries resulting from this condition.
This action affects approximately 27,000 vehicles
Ford is issuing a recall for some 2019 Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus and Lincoln Navigator vehicles for an instrument panel issue.
