Nissan Boss Stays In Jail; More On Whistleblower

Fallen auto legend Carlos Ghosn is in jail in Japan, as authorities investigate allegations of financial crimes.
Ghosn was arrested after a company whistleblower triggered an internal company investigation, which led authorities in Tokyo to take over. Ghosn had headed Nissan for many years.
WJR News has determined that Ghosn is in custody but his whereabouts are not known.

The allegations, which include under-reporting of his compensation, could also lead to tax fraud charges.
No criminal charges have been brought by prosecutors.
Japanese media reports say  the initial whistleblower was someone in the Nissan legal department who may have been involved in some of the wrongdoing, and was given a plea agreement by prosecutors.

The French government says it is moving to have Ghosn removed as chairman and CEO of Renault.
