A deer hunter has been shot and killed while hunting on private land near Torch Lake in Northern Michigan.
The DNR and State Police responded to a call near the town of Alden.
The DNR has not released the name of the victim but said he is from downstate.
The investigation shows the man was shot by another hunter who mistook him for a deer.
