New political polls are out regarding two tight congressional races, in the 11th and the 8th districts.
Both are about even.
A poll of likely voters taken by Target Insight for the MIRS News Service and WJBK channel 2 show that 8th district Republican Mike Bishop is slightly ahead of Democratic challenger Elissa Slotkin.
And in the 11th district, the poll shows Democrat Haley Stevens and Republican Lena Epstein to be dead even.
The surveys were taken by veteran Lansing pollster Ed Sarpolis.
