U-M Nurses Okay New Contract

Unionized nurses have ratified a 3 year contract with the University of Michigan health system, Michigan Medicine.
They had threatened a strike.
The Michigan Nurses Association says the contract includes a pay raise, sexual harassment protections, parental leave and language limiting the use of mandatory overtime. The contract covers 57-hundred nurses at U of M hospital and clinics.
