Police say an off-duty Detroit Police officer shot and wounded a man who was holding a gun to his girlfriend.
This happened on the east side. The off-duty officer heard a loud argument outside of a house he was in… went outside… saw the man holding a gun to the woman’s head… and ordered the man to drop his gun. He refused. So the officer shot him.
The man was taken to a hospital with a wound to the groin. The family had said earlier the man died. They are not saying that now— and police are not releasing the man’s condition.
