Members of the presidential search committee at Michigan State University will hold a community input session tonight
The committee is looking to replace Lou Anna Simon, who resigned in January in the aftermath of the Larry Nassar scandal.
University trustees Melanie Foster and Dianne Byrum are co-chairs of the search committee.
They say the committee will consider both internal and external candidates.
Committee members will not be considered and interim president John Engler is not a candidate.
The full board of trustees will have the final say on who the schools next leader will be.
Tonight’s community input session will start at 6 o’clock in the Big T en room of the Kellogg Center.
A second session has also been scheduled for tomorrow night in the Lincoln Room of the Kellogg Center.
