The struggling Eastland Mall in Harper Woods is going on the auction block.
The mall will open for bids today.
The auction will run through early Thursday afternoon.
Bidding is to start at 500-thousand dollars.
Nearly all of the 640-thousand square foot mall is up for grabs.
The auction does not cover the former Macy’s and Target stores, which are individually owned, or the existing locations for the Lowe’s and Home Depot stores.
The Eastland Mall opened in 1957, but has been in decline in recent years and went into receivership in 2015.
