Toledo Jeep To Be Home Of New Pickup

Workers at the Jeep plant in Toledo are getting some good news.

A new midsized pickup slated for the Ram lineup will be built at the Toledo Jeep complex. The workers all but knew that, since about half of the Toledo Assembly complex was shut down for re-tooling in late April. Jeep Wranglers were built there. But not all of the space will be needed for the new Ram pickup. So Fiat Chrysler will have some unused capacity at their disposal.
Word of the new pickup production location is coming from suppliers to Automotive News.
There’s no word yet from the company.
