They were live on Instagram. Then one of them was dead.
18 year old Dawson Cook and 18 year old Dylan Hemphill were playing with a rifle with a bayonet.
They were in a home on San Juan Drive in Detroit just before midnight on April 2nd.
Police say the 2 men were showing off the rifle and money on the video … that Hemphill gave the rifle to Cook and it discharged.
Hemphill was hit and killed.
Cook was charged with a misdemeanor count of careless discharge of a firearm.
He’s due in court today for a sentencing hearing.
