3 men have been charged with a carjacking in Dearborn that saw an exchange of gunfire with police.

The 3 men… Kimani Waiters, Donte Davis, and Marquette Jones, all in their 20’s, are charged with the carjacking at gunpoint in Dearborn last Wednesday. Waiters driving away in the stolen vehicle, Davis and Jones driving away in another car. Dearborn Police acted quickly, trying to stop the stolen car. But Waiters drove toward the police and opened fire, and shattered the windshield. The officer fired back once. Waiters smashed into a second police car, fled on foot, was caught, and Davis and Jones were tracked down later. The charges include attempted murder and armed robbery. No one was hit in the shooting.
