A special exhibit to honor American veterans who died from their wounds in Iraq and Afghanistan is opening today in northwest Wayne County.
The exhibit is entitled,’Remembering Our Fallen.”
It will be on display from today through Saturday, which is Armed forces Day at Northville High School on Six Mile Road.
The memorial includes 31 tribute towers with military and and personal photos of almost 5-thousand of the nations veterans who have lost their lives since 9-11 in what has been known as ‘The War on Terror.’
This traveling memorial was first unveiled nationally on September 7th of last year at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
