GOP Candidates Clash Over Military Records

Former congressman Kerry Bentivolio is suing a candidate for congress, Andrew ‘Rocky’ Raczkowski, accusing Raczkowski of defamation over Bentivolio’s military record. Both are running for the 11th District U-S House seat.
Both served in the U-S Army.
Bentivolio’s lawsuit says Raczkowski has told others that parts of Bentivolio’s stated military record is fake.
Raczkowski denies the allegation.
The lawsuit was served on Raczkowski at a candidate debate this week.
Bentivolio is a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Vietnam campaign medal with two Bronze Stars, according to his lawyer.
Raczkowski is a retired Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserves.
