Flint Water Case Back In Court

The preliminary exam of Nick Lyon, the director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, resumed today.

He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and misconduct in office.

Prosecutors say that his actions resulted in the death of a Flint-area man from an outbreak of Legionnaires disease in December of 2015.

Lyon, along with State Medical Executive Eden Wells are the highest ranking officials that have been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Wells preliminary exam in scheduled to resume one week from today.
