Steve Courtney and Ken Brown did Wednesday’s “Mitch Albom Show” live from Ford Field, for the 5th Annual Taste of the Lions. The event featured dozens of Metro Detroit’s top restaurants, including Novi Chophouse, Nomad Grill, Slow’s BBQ, Tria, Lazybones BBQ, Ocean Prime, Ruths Chris and much more.
Fans had the opportunity to mingle with Detroit Lions players and coaches in a casual setting. The event proceeds benefit Eastern Market and their community outreach programs. Eastern Market is a Detroit Lions community partner, and they collaborate to “build a healthier Detroit by improving the access to fresh food options in underserved areas.”

Hour 1 included Lions General Manager Bob Quinn, head coach Jim Caldwell, defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.
Hour 2 included Lions Executive Chef Joe Nader, quarterback Matthew Stafford, Lions President Rod Wood and Eastern Market President Dan Carmody.
