Flint’s Mayor Karen Weaver appeared on ABC’s The View as the national spotlight continues to shine on the Flint Water Crisis. Cher, who has been very outspoken on the issue and a critic of Governor Snyder, was also on the program. Co-host Paula Faris is a Michigan native and the issue is personal to her as well, saying “I wanted to say, Mayor Weaver, I’m a fellow Michigander. My dad was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Faris Family Furniture and Jeweler. You may have heard of it, my uncles own that store.”
