City of Detroit logo

A new Epic-MRA poll, commissioned by the Detroit Free Press shows city residents give Mayor Mike Duggan and Police Chief James Craig high scores. The poll comes a year after Detroit emerged from bankruptcy. Four hundred residents were polled from November 30th through December 6th. Results show 69% percent of those polled believe the city is headed in the right direction, 44% say they see an improvement in city services, and 60% think the mayor is doing a good job. But the highest approval rating is for the city’s top cop: Craig garnered a 75% approval rating.
