  • Frank has been honored numerous times by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for The Best Midday Show award.
  • Frank is the recipient of the 2014 Chris Schenkel Award by the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame.
  • Frank was selected to be the honorary chairman of the U.S. Senior 2012 Open, which was held at Indianwood Golf and Country Club. This is a highlight of Frank‘s golfing life.
  • The Frank Beckmann Show” was honored by “Hour Magazine” as the best AM local talkadio show of 2010.
  • Frank was honored by the Michigan Taxpayers Alliance with the first “Voice of the Taxpayers Award.” This award goes to a member of the media with the best coverage of issues of importance to state taxpayers.
  • Frank was honored by the U.S. Renewable Energy Association with the 2009 Broadcasting Excellence Award. This award recognizes Frank for the body of information, resources, and show guests, which contribute to the understanding of earth climate and energy systems beyond political dictation or agenda-based science
  • Frank was honored with the Michigan National Guard Media Appreciation Award for his work with the Saving Mohammed Project.
  • Frank was elected in 2008 to the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame
  • Frank was the Broadcast Voice of Michigan Football for 33 Years
  • Frank has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for charitable causes including March of Dimes, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, the Autism Alliance of Michigan and Kali’s Cure for Paralysis, among numerous others.
  • Frank Beckmann is the winner of the Ty Tyson Award for Excellence in Sports Broadcasting.
  • Frank writes a popular weekly column on Fridays for the Detroit News.
